This is an antique blob top beer bottle from Brooklyn, N.Y. that's blown in mold and dates to around 1870-1890, measuring 9-1/8" tall by 2-1/2" diameter:
S. LIEBMANN'S SONS BREWING CO./ REGISTERED
Has a big hand tooled blob, beautiful swirl in the neck, some entrapped air bubbles, and bold embossing.
In 1854, Samuel Liebmann, a German immigrant, purchased a brewery in Williamsburg, N.Y., which would become the greatest brewery in New York over the next 100 years. His three sons ran the brewery until around 1905, when it was passed on to their grandsons. - Mike's Bottle Room
In very good condition with just a very small top, inner back lip bruise, a very small chip between the RE in Registered, and a faint, tiny back base edge bruise.
